that?
Answer: Simply because we recognize that people's musical tastes run in many different directions, and while the Oracle Band may well be perfect for one person, we might not have the repertoire or sound that someone else is looking for. We believe strongly in matching you up with the kind of entertainment you are really looking for. We want you to be comfortable with your band, secure in the knowledge that you have just the right band or ensemble for your needs. We don't pretend to be a swing band, any more than swing bands should pretend to be true variety bands. Additionally, you might be looking for something along the classical lines. Although Oracle has a limited repertoire of music for wedding ceremonies, we don't pretend to be a classical ensemble. |
| Retrospect Band www.RetrospectBand.com A nine piece variety band that performs a very wide variety of music. Retrospect trumpet player and band leader Larry Elliott and Oracle business manager and trumpet player Steve Kimbell used to be in the pit orchestra together at the old Harlequin Dinner Theater in Rockville.
