So here we were, driving through the snow up to the Hilton to set up for the annual Northern Anne Arundel Chamber Of Commerce Presidential Gala.

The snow had been coming down pretty good all day, but had all but stopped by the time we were heading up there.  The roads were tricky but passable.

We got all set up when the word came down that they were considering cancelling due to what the newscasters were calling "deteriorating conditions".

Hooey.  Only in Maryland would a couple of inches of snow bring the state to it's knees and consider cancelling everything in sight.  Fortunately, business people in this state have a little more backbone, and they ultimately decided to go ahead with the event.

It's a good things they did too, because a GREAT crowd came out to party the night away with us at the beautiful ballroom at the Hilton at BWI.
