The
temperature had been hovering at right around 100 degrees all
afternoon. The power grid had cut back voltage, causing some of the
band's more sensitive electronic equipment to react somewhat unpredictably
(to be generous).
Then the thunderstorms blew in with severe lightning that caused the
power we DID have to flicker on and off, causing even more disruptions.
Recipe for disaster? Not on your life. The show must go on,
and on, and on, right up to midnight, as a sold out house feasted on
crabs, beef, ham, chicken, and other delights, and hit the dance floor
with a vengeance, partying the night away and having a great time.
