It
was one of those rare occurrences that only make their
appearance once every seven years or so...when St. Patrick's
Day, March 17th, actually falls on a Saturday, where folks can
come out to party, dance, and sing along with the band without
having to fear dragging themselves up early and going to work
the next day.
To accommodate the large crowd the party at the American Legion in
Severna Park was moved from the lounge to the party room downstairs, and
it's a good thing, because a sell out crowd came out to strut their Irish
heritage (even if they had none at all...hey...everyone is Irish on St.
Patty's Day).
Sponsored by the Auxiliary of the Legion, the corned beef, cabbage,
potatoes, and other staples were fantastic.
