The fans asked, and we responded. You asked for a New Years package that included a great meal, open bar, a classy setting, an option for overnight accommodations, and of course, great entertainment, all for an affordable rate. We took all of those requests and threw in a silent auction where 100% of the proceeds went to the USO at BWI, and with the help of the folks at the Four Points by Sheraton BWI, the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce, and a host of other contributors, an unbelievable evening sprang into reality as over 300 people came out to welcome in not only a new year, but a new decade. From the very start things went smoothly. The staff at the Four Points was incredibly attentive, & coordinated everything exceptionally well. The food was superb, ranging from basic fare to exotic, and presented with flair & style.


	We mentioned earlier that one of the highlights of the evening was the silent auction. 100% of the proceeds went to the USO over at BWI, which is a staging point for many of our troops heading overseas. The final total from the evening was a $4225.00 contribution to the USO. Special thanks go out to the businesses & individuals that donated the items for auction, including the folks with the Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce.


	Did we mention that the event sold out? Not only did it sell out, but it did so almost three months in advance, and a second ballroom was opened to accommodate the folks still clamoring for tickets. A live video feed from the main room was sent to the second ballroom, where additional entertainment was also provided.
