New Years 2007-2008 found the Oracle Band performing at Perry's Restaurant in Odenton for a full house of folks ready to party the night away.

Wow...what an evening as things kicked off with a fabulous dinner buffet starting at 7:00, and the party went all the way until 3:00 in the morning! 

To say that the band was pretty exhausted after performing for five and a half hours is an understatement, but the response from the folks there made the effort well worthwhile, as the dance floor was hopping all evening long.

In a strange turn of events, we found ourselves back on the side of the room where the stage was when we first started performing there oh so many years ago.  The switch was made necessary because the dining room had to be opened to handle the overflow crowd, and it was only fair to allow them to be able to actually SEE the stage!

Another interesting moment came when as we were getting everything set up we received a visit from one of Oracle's founding members, Jeff Baxter and his wife Jolene, who stopped by on their way to another engagement to let us meet their new daughter Jenifer. 

Many thanks go out to the management and staff at Perry's, who have supported Oracle Band all these years, and who were responsible for making the evening possible.
