It has become something of a tradition that as soon as the snows start to
thaw and we get a glimmer of Spring in the air, it becomes time to start
planning for the big Chocolate Ball at the Kossiakoff Center at Johns
Hopkins Applied Physics Lab. The Chocolate Ball is a black-tie benefit
supporting the Arc of Howard County, an organization working to support
children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Unique to this very special fundraiser is the confections and cakes
presented. Cakeries compete for the "People's Choice" award, won this
year by the group from Howard County Community College. Click on any
