Oracle 2006 - The Year in Review - Page 2

In April Oracle performed for the first time at the Camp Springs Elks Lodge in Camp Springs Maryland.

The enormous dance floor there was beautiful, and everyone there, young and young at heart, have a great time.

During the course of 2006 Oracle performed at Whispers 11 nights over 8 different weekends, and each and every night was a fantastic party.

The folks that come out to Whispers are ready to dance, and the spacious dance floor is ideal for those folks who love to have plenty of room to strut their stuff.

Whispers is also ideal for people looking to celebrate a birthday, promotion, anniversary, or other special event. Larger groups can be accommodated with advance notice, and of course the band is more than happy to help out with making the celebration something special.

On April 2nd Oracle lost a very good friend of the band in the person of one Roman Guercio.

Roman and his wife Jean were regulars at Oracle performances at Perry's Restaurant and other nearby locations for years, and we were extremely saddened to hear of his passing.

To all of our newlywed couples from 2006 we'd like to extend our thanks for allowing us to be a part of your big day, and our sincere best wishes for a long and happy life together

June also saw Oracle's first performance at Maryland Yacht Club.

This event was special for a couple of reasons.  First off, it was the beginning of what promises to be a long and enjoyable relationship with an organization filled with some great people.

Secondly, it marked the very first toga party Oracle has ever performed at!

Daytime of evening, formal or casual, it doesn't matter in terms of having folks dance and enjoy themselves.  

While it's always a pleasure performing at weddings, where a couple is just taking their first steps as husband and wife, it is also extremely gratifying to be able to help celebrate a couple's continuing commitment to each other, as was the case of this incredible 50th wedding anniversary party in June.
