April found the band performing for a Sweet Sixteen birthday
party for Mike & Veronica's youngest daughter Nicole. Apprehensions about
getting eaten alive by a bunch of 16 year olds soon melted as they all got
into the spirit of the evening and danced all night long. An accomplished musician in her own right on both piano and violin, we hope we can get Nicole to play with the band at some point during this coming year. She also brought some friends from her school band along, giving Oracle a full horn section for several songs. |

This performance at the Fleet Reserve Club in April shows that the band has fans of ALL ages. It's really so much fun to see kids of all ages dancing to the band and having a great time. As you probably know, "FUN" is the keyword for all of Oracle's performances. |

In May the band received an invitation to appear at the City
Of Laurel Main Street Festival. Although it had been sprinkling rain most
of the day, the skies cleared just as Oracle was about to go on.
It would appear that Mother Nature and Oracle have a pretty good thing going. |

In 2003 one of Oracle's favorite places to perform got a well deserved facelift with the renovations at Jim's Hideaway in Odenton Maryland. The new owners at Jim's came in and have made the sports lounge area a really wonderful place to perform. Those of you who recall the last couple of years without air conditioning in there will know exactly what we mean!!! |

We celebrated Veronica's birthday in June with a party at
the Fleet Reserve Club in Annapolis Maryland.
A large crowd of well wishers came out to help celebrate the day. Unfortunately the Fleet Reserve Club is a private members only club, so only those Oracle fans who were members could participate, but this coming year we'll be celebrating her birthday at Perry's Restaurant so EVERYONE can attend! |

Perry's Restaurant in Odenton Maryland has always been one of Oracle's favorite places to perform. OK, so it sounds like we say that about a lot of clubs, but really, the restaurants and clubs we perform at are something special. This shot from July 2003 shows some of our good friends from the group Changing Focus, as well as one of our long distance fans who traveled in all the way from Ohio to hear us. |

July also marked the debut of Oracle at Kaufman's Restaurant
& Tavern in Gambrills Maryland. Oracle fans really came through at this
show and really packed the place, to the point where it seemed everyone was
sharing their tables with everyone else.
The size of the crowd really blew the minds of the management and staff there, and is one of the reasons why Oracle is so popular. We couldn't do it without the "Oracle Family"! |

For the second consecutive year Oracle was invited to be one of the featured bands for the City Of Laurel concert series at McCullough Pavilion. A really nice crowd came out and enjoyed a two hour performance that had young and old alike clapping their hands and tapping their toes. Fortunately the August temperatures were moderate...thanks again Mother Nature! As you can see from the shot to the right, we brought all the kids up on stage to perform with the band, and leaving with a souvenir maracas. |
