 Although
temperatures had been hitting triple digits in the previous few days, the
Oracle Band's great relationship with Mother Nature paid off in dividends
as the weather turned simply perfect for an August evening concert under
the stars. A nice breeze off the lake and lower humidity all
combined to make the 2006 Oracle concert for the City of Laurel a striking
success.
Many thanks to those that came out to enjoy the evening. Perhaps
for 2007 those that were scared off by the threat of poor conditions will
remember that we have an "in" with Mother Nature, and that she's
indicated we're going to have yet another wonderful day next year.
